We’re looking for Software Engineer-Testing & QA in the Technology function. The ideal candidate is a professional with expertise in Manual & automation testing of both web applications and back end services, including functional API testing, integration testing, and UI functionality and usability testing..
Qualifications
- BTech or equivalent in CS/ECE/IT
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Tester [manual/automation].
- Must have Experience with test automation tools, schedulers, frameworks
- Exposure to the fintech / procurement tech domain will be a huge plus point.
Role Responsibilities
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Conduct unit, functional testing, integration testing, and UI functionality and usability testing
- Logging bugs, verifying bug fixes, and doing Root Cause Analysis for the failures
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Review test procedures and develop automation test scripts
- Knowledge of various aspects of professional SDLC
- Establish the software quality metrics and clear status reporting
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
Job Requirements
- Strong hold on writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience with testing methodologies for server class services, including latency and load testing.
- Experience with test automation tools, schedulers, frameworks.
- Experience in testing both web applications and back end services, including functional API testing, integration testing, and UI functionality and usability testing
- Understanding of Web fundamentals (HTML, JS, CSS, Server Side Programming & Database)
